Augmate does not make digital eyewear (just the software), however, we work across a number of manufacturers and models including “see-through”, “glance-at”, and “retinal scanning” display types.  While it is relatively easy to pipe information directly to a persons eye, Augmate can incorporate a micro video camera accessory for sophisticated understanding of a users environment. Our recognition algoritms are a type of contextual computer vision that provide situational awareness to our users.  Augmate can recommend eyewear based your environment, we have solved luminance display issues for indoor / outdoor ambient lighting conditions and have solutions for people with Rx corrective vision needs.
